This is my reply:

You're not my first, my only, but you're one of a kind
I have loved before, and I will love again

We're not perfect you and I, but it is enough for me
Happiness, not sorrow, is what I can offer to thee

If you give me your heart, I have a place to keep it
Next to mine, a holy grail, where it is sacred

I'll laugh, I'll smile, I'll even cry
To break your heart or hurt you, I won't even try

I care not about your past, I only want your future
I'll miss you, I'll love you, forever, ever after..

How fate plays its part in our life

It's Monday morning. You woke up 5 minutes late. You had your cereal, some milk spilled on your pants. Drove to work, few angry cars beamed you up 1 km away when you're driving 120 km/h on the road already, and you sped up. Arrived at the parking lot, last minute make up adjustments. You walked towards your office. Suddenly, WHAMM! A car out of nowhere hit you from a blindspot.
What does this got to do with fate? Think again. What if you didn't wake up late today? What if that milk didn't spill on your pants? What if those drivers didn't beam you? What if you stayed longer to adjust your make up?

If only one of those tiny moments will make a difference. If only you'd wake up earlier. If only you'd eat a toast. If only you'd drive slower. If only you'd just get out from your car, and head to office. If only things happened differently..

The big question is, do you want it to change? Let me tell you my answer. No. I wouldn't change anything that has happened in my life, be it bitter, be it sore. I wouldn't want to erase that painful memory I had with my ex. I wouldn't want to avoid hitting the divider in Cyberjaya. I wouldn't want to forget how painful it is to have my first surgery. Some of you may ask, why wouldn't I want my painful memories be removed from my life? Simple. It made me who I am now. And I won't trade it for the world.

You see, when you pray for something from God (eg. Please God, grant me wealth and richness dunia and akhirat), God listened, and He answered. But in 2 forms. The first form; He will give you what you need, not what you want. God is fair to each and everyone of us. Everything that you have, that you own, are just enough for you, no matter how insufficient you think it is. Just enough air for everyone, just enough time to do work, just enough energy to roam the earth. Everything is nicely balanced, up till atomic and subatomic level of life. Not only talking about blessings, but problems and mishaps as well. You won't be given what you can't handle. Because He created you, He knows how far you can go and how much you can take it. It's up to you how you're going to maneuvre and accept it. Conclusion is, you won't get what you want, but you'll get what you need.

Second form; everything that we asked from our God, won't appear just like that. Let's say you prayed for patience and to find your true love. God won't go like "Okay, here you go. 1 patience and true love for you". NO! What He will do is He will grant you the OPPORTUNITY to gain what you wished for. You will have to work yourself to seize and capture that opportunity. After going through the hardships, then you will bear the fruit of your labour. Maybe with a little stumble along the way. In a relationship, I always ask God "If she is not meant for me, please separate our heart apart". As simple as that. And often, God shows me the way, in forms of me catching her cheating on me. Haha. Well, better now than after the wedding right?

So, that's all about fate and opportunities. This post requires a bit of thinking. I hope you guys still have some power to think on Mondays. Haha.. Till next time.

Quote of the day

Hi. It's gonna be a short one today

People who are being used by other people to fill the empty gaps in their life, and got discarded after, are best described as Emotional Tampons

Struck me when I was thinking about rebound breakups. Just my 2 cents.

Old school stuffs

Hello guys. My mind wandered off today, after a long, unproductive day, and suddenly the old school memories struck me. Being born in 1985, there are lots of stuff I did as a kid, and I compiled them here for your reading pleasure

I used to "pow" my grandpa for one of these each time we go out to town :P

Oh I love this thing. I can sit on the stairs for hours. You can get it at the local "pasar malam"

This is like the trendier version of clays in paper boxes. Doesn't smell, and lasted longer

Big Bird: And today's letter is the letter "L"

Who doesn't love Mowgli and his company. Especially that song "Bear Necessity"

Donkey Kong. One of the best game ever invented!

Tamagotchi/Digimon. I didn't get this very early. I remembered the most powerful Digimon is Teddymon. Looked very cute, but powerful. With a secret way of obtaining it!

Playstation! FYI, I still have this in my home :P

Before Playstation? Gameboy of course!

And of course, guli (marble). How could you not play that shiny thing? Guli susu? Hahaha..

The coolest character that time. 7 Up!

Afterschool pleasures, number 1

Afterschool pleasures, number 2

I used to BEG my mum to buy this cookie at "pasar malam". Only eat the top part :P

And this pre-helicopter thing. Fascinating

I remembered licking the tip just to make it stick better at the mirror :P

Well, I never really had these..

Put it on the tip of the blower, lick it a bit, spit off unwanted chemicals..

Voila! A balloon. I used to think that the chemical will cause brain cancer. And people keep touching the balloon, without thinking I have licked it initially..

And hey, Dragonball! The original one. I still have the comic books on the shelves :)

Penguin on stairs. Hypnotized by it.

I don't really know what this is called. But it was fun playing it!

Tom and Jerry. I really wish Tom would catch Jerry one day, and eat him :P

Oh, I'm a hardcore Doraemon original comic (Malay) collector. I have all of it even now!

My evening entertainment, number 1

My evening entertainment, number 2. My mum used to trick me into eating veges with this cartoon. And I sing that tune each time after eating spinach.

My evening entertainment, number 3. Thunder, Thunder, Thundercats, Hoooooooo!~!

Hell yeah! Cowboy baby!

*insert Super Mario Bros tune here*

Remember the yo-yo craze? Pro-yo (not poyo ok)

Every boy had this once in their life. This is super cool toy soldiers!

Afterschool pleasures, number 3

Afterschool pleasures, number 4

My first violent hobby as a kid

I think I got this as a birthday present. The only song I know how to play was London Bridge

Boy I cried when I want one of these babies..

The rubber craze. I love grapes and watermelons!

And a multi-purposed pencil box? Come on.. Who wouldn't want this??

The original Power Rangers!

Let's not forget, all those country flag erasers. And I lost quite a few of them to "rubber matches"

Oh man, these are waayyyy cooler than Uno.

Where in the world can you find a chewing gum with free tattoos eh?

And last but not least, how can a boy live without his gasing??

Sweet, sweet memories. I wish I could relive them back again :)

On 2nd June 2009

I am an ass
I am a jerk
I am an idiot
I am stupid
I made a mess
I made a stupid mistake
I am ignorant
I made a complete fool out of myself
I deserved to be kicked in the sensitive places
I ruined your day

I am sorry
